Yoga for Kids and Teens - "Leaping Frog Yoga"

In leaping frog yoga, Yoga postures and mindfulness games are playfully combined to give kids and teens a love of exercise and strong foundations of physical and mental health that will last a lifetime.

Classes are fun and energetic and introduce essential life-skills that are of great relevance in todays rapidly changing world with its fast pace and multiple pressures.

The benefits of regular yoga and mindfulness training include;

  • Body-mind integration, helping with both academic and sport performance.
  • Physical health, the focus on strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance improves general health and fitness, complementing sport performance, building needed stamina and helping to prevent injuries.

Enrolment

Leaping Frog Yoga is run by the school term and age division is dependant on enrolment. Early enrolment is encouraged, as class sizes are limited. Email Us to enrol now.

Leaping Frog Yoga for kids and teens is taught by Sydel Weinstein. Sydel is available for school bookings, workshops and professional development of teachers interested in integrating yoga and mindfulness into the class experience. See our Mindful Teacher workshop. Leaping from Yoga is an extension of our Mental Health and Well Being Program.

Frogs are associated with healing, water, the lotus flower, renewal, rebirth, dreaming, peace, opportunity, good luck and happy family life.
